Wilderness Road Trip (Campbell Hwy)
The Campbell Highway was built in the late 1960s along the original fur
trade
route from southern Canada to central Yukon. It is named after
the legendary
fur trader, Robert Campbell, who explored this route in the 1840s on
behalf of the Hudson's Bay Company. This self-guided drive follows
along his
tracks
from Carmacks to Watson Lake, staying one night at a B&B in the
small, remote town of Faro.
The highlight of this package is a 4-night stay at Frances Lake
Wilderness Lodge and also includes drives on the famous Alaska and
North Klondike Highways.
