Our Wilderness Trips

Experience the diverse and largely untouched wilderness of the southeast Yukon on a guided canoe or hiking trip with us. Unique multi-day excursions will take you to remote lakes, down unknown rivers and along mystic trails. We are very familiar with the land and waterways of the area, and will gladly share our knowledge of nature and history with you. On our tours, we will be travelling in small groups of like-minded people, and we'll have plenty of time to experience the many pleasures of the region. We will sleep in tents, cook over an open fire and experience sun, wind and weather first-hand. There is always a chance of rewarding animal encounters, as the tour passes by pristine lakes, rivers and mountains day after day, on a journey that will become an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. You also can spend some relaxing days in the comfort of the lodge before or after your trip.

	Wild Yukon: Canoeing and Hiking Experience From mountain vistas to river valleys, this popular trip — a favourite of ours — offers guests the perfect combination of varied wilderness experiences. After a spectacular floatplane flight to McPherson Lake, we'll travel the seldom-paddled Yusezyu River all the way back to Frances Lake, where you'll return to the comfort of your private, cozy log cabin! Afterwards, we will explore the northern foothills of the Canadian Rockies on foot while camping high up in the scenic Logan Mountains. Duration: 18 days from/to Whitehorse Dates: July 9 – 26, 2020 (or by reservation) Rates: $5150 CAD + GST per person (for groups of 3 – 7 guests) $6300 CAD + GST per person (for 2 guests)
	Paddling Yusezyu River Departing from Frances Lake Wilderness Lodge, a floatplane will bring us to our campsite at McPherson Lake, the put-in of our canoe trip. From there, we will paddle this lovely yet exciting river back to the comforts of the lodge. This trip is part of the Wild Yukon program. Duration: 8 days from/to Frances Lake Dates: July 11 – 18, 2020 (or by reservation) Rates: $2670 CAD + GST per person (for groups of 3 – 7 guests) $3290 CAD + GST per person (for 2 guests)
	Hiking Mount Hunt Enjoy the breathtaking mountain wilderness on a hiking tour high up in the Logan Mountains, the northern foothills of the Canadian Rockies. Afterwards, relax in the cozy comfort of your own little log cabin at Frances Lake Wilderness Lodge. This trip is part of the Wild Yukon program. Duration: 8 days from/to Frances Lake Dates: July 18 – 25, 2020 (or by reservation) Rates: $1980 CAD + GST per person (for groups of 3 – 7 guests) $2470 CAD + GST per person (for 2 guests)
	East Arm Adventure Have you ever dreamed of being part of the pristine Canadian wilderness? Enjoy the perfect combination of a comfortable lodge stay and adventurous campfire romance! After some nights in your cozy log cabin at the lodge, we'll take the boat to the scenic East Arm of Frances Lake, where we'll put up our tents in a remote sandy bay and commune with nature for the next few days. Canoeing, hiking, fishing, relaxing, observing animals and marveling at plants — experiences that will touch your soul! Duration: 7 days from/to Frances Lake Dates: July – August 2020 Rates: $1900 CAD + GST per person (for groups of 3 – 7 guests) $2225 CAD + GST per person (for 2 guests) Optional: The camping portion can be done self-guided at a reduced rate.
